Orders

[+] How quickly will I receive my code?
Thanks to our automated system, digital codes are made available instantly through a link in the My Orders area, as well as a website link delivered to your email address, as soon as a valid payment has been confirmed. Credit card, Bitcoin and Instant EFT payments are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via our automated software, while direct EFTs and cash deposits are manually processed during business hours by our sales staff after receiving a valid proof of payment. Cash deposits and payments made from banks outside of South Africa will only be processed once the payment reflects in our account.

Note: Pre-orders will only be released on the specified release date, subject to change at the discretion of our suppliers.

[+] What happens if my code doesn't work?
If you're receiving an "Invalid Code" error, make sure that you are entering the correct code. Look out for characters that look similar, such as an '8' which could be a 'B', or an 'O' which could be a 'D'. Also make sure you are redeeming a code that's for the same region as your account.

If you're still having problems with your purchased code, please contact support, and be sure to include your order number and the exact error you are receiving.

Pre-orders

[+] When will I receive my code?
Pre-orders are processed and automatically delivered on the release date specified on the product page. Release dates are, however, subject to change at the discretion of our suppliers.
[+] When do I get charged for a Pre-order?
For a pre-order to be processed and secured, full payment must be made and verified using one of our payment methods. This is to ensure that we can deliver your code to you as soon as stocks and release dates permit.
[+] How do I cancel a Pre-order?
Pre-orders that have yet to be completed and delivered may be cancelled by contacting the Sales Team via the contact us page. Refunds will be issued as per our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Payments

[+] What payment options do you accept?
Secure payment options include Visa & Mastercard debit/credit cards (must be 3D Secure registered), Bitcoin, Instant EFT, straight EFTs and cash deposits. Payment options may vary depending on the region you're in.

Unfortunately we do not accept PayPal.
[+] What are your banking details?
Banking details are provided on checkout after choosing your payment option, as well as in your order confirmation email. You'll need to use the unique order reference provided as the beneficiary reference so that we can apply the payment correctly when making a direct payment to us, and so will need to create an order first to be presented with the correct details.
[+] My order is showing as "Payment Pending", but I've made payment.
If you've made payment via the "Bank Transfer (EFT) or Cash Deposit" option, please make sure that you've sent a valid proof of payment through to our Sales Team (sales@prepaidgamer.com). Manual payments of this nature are processed during office hours only once we've received and verified a valid proof of payment, otherwise they will be processed once the payment reflects in our bank account, which can take 1-3 business days. Payments made from banks outside of South Africa will only be processed once payment has cleared, which can take between 1-3 business days.

If you've made payment via the "Instant EFT" option, and your order is still pending, it means that our system hasn't verified your payment. This can happen if the "Verify Payment" button is not clicked after making payment, or if the incorrect details were used when paying, such as not using the unique beneficiary reference shown on checkout. In very rare situations, it's also possible that your bank has delayed the payment, and so we are unable to verify the payment. Should this be the case, please send a valid proof of payment to support (support@prepaidgamer.com), so that we can manually link the payment as soon as possible.
[+] What is 3D Secure, and how does it work?
3D Secure is an extra layer of security which is applied when using your credit card for online transactions. For certain online transactions you'll be asked to enter your 3D Secure password (different from your PIN) or a One Time PIN (OTP) which you will receive via SMS or email, which is called "Verified by Visa" and "Mastercard SecureCode" by the respective credit card companies.

To make payments via your Mastercard or Visa credit card on our site, you will need to sign up for 3D Secure before your card will be processed online. This is a 2-step process which can be instantly completed online via your bank's website.

[+] Why is there a daily limit on credit card payments?
Due to the automated nature of our business, we have to combat high levels of fraudulant credit card transactions. To help alleviate the financial loss that these transactions may incur, we incorporate security checks such as One Time Pins, fraud reviews, and daily payment limits. If you need to make regular, large payments, please contact sales. We also encourage customers to make use of our other payment options which do not have limits, such as EFTs.
[+] How long do I have to make payment?
When placing an order you need to ensure payment is made within a reasonable period of time. This is because stock is reserved when ordering through us and cannot be held indefinitely. Our system automatically cancels orders that have not been paid up based on the following timelines:
  • Credit Card - 2 hours
  • Bitcoin - 4 hours
  • EFT - 48 hours
  • Cash Deposit - 72 hours
If you're unable to make payment in the time provided and your order is cancelled, but are still wanting to make a purchase, just place a new order and ensure payment is made within the timelines provided above.

Loyalty Programme

[+] How do I earn loyalty points?
All registered customers on PrepaidGamer.com are automatically enrolled in our loyalty programme, and are eligible to earn loyalty points on every order they make. Customers will earn 1 point for every R10 spent per order (excluding payments done with vouchers and certain promotional specials), which will be instantly added to your points balance once the order has been completed.
[+] How do I redeem my loyalty points?
Loyalty points can be redeemed as soon as the balance exceeds 100 points. You can view your balance at any time and redeem points under My Account » My Loyalty Points
[+] How much is each loyalty point worth?
Customers will get R1 back in vouchers for every 10 points redeemed. Points are converted into discount vouchers, which can be used on checkout.
[+] Do loyalty points expire?
Yes. Loyalty points will expire if unused for more than 1 year. Similarly, loyalty vouchers also have an expiry date of 1 year after being converted from points.

PrepaidGamer.com Gift Vouchers

[+] What do I get when buying a gift voucher?
You will receive a link to download a PDF containing the gift voucher code and instructions on redeeming the code. You can then forward the PDF/email, or print the PDF, to give it to friends and family as a gift.
[+] How do I redeem the gift voucher code?
  1. Go to www.prepaidgamer.com and log in or create a new account.
  2. Click on "My Account" from the top menu, and then "View and link vouchers" under "My Vouchers".
  3. Enter the voucher code into the input box provided and click the "Link Voucher" button.
  4. The gift voucher can now be used against future purchases when checking out.
[+] Can a gift voucher be shared amongst multiple users?
No. Once redeemed, the gift voucher will be permanently tied to the first user account that redeems the code. The balance on the gift voucher will then be applied to all future orders on that account until depleted.

Legal Stuff

[+] What is your refund policy?
If your code does not work on a valid account, and it has not already been redeemed, we will either replace the item with a working code, or refund you. To qualify, please contact us within 7 days of purchase, providing your order number and a detailed description of any errors encountered while trying to redeem the code.

All digital goods are delivered digitally for free via a website link sent to your email address, as well as through a link in the My Orders area.

Physical goods are packed and shipped in accordance to our Terms & Conditions, with shipping options, estimated time until delivery and shipping charges being presented to the customer before completing payment.
